Health Literacy Reference Guide
Instruction in Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English
as a Second Language (ESL) frequently addresses health literacy because of its importance
to low-literate adult learners. CALPRO developed this Health Literacy Reference
Guide to help teachers locate and use a wide array of currently available health
literacy materials and to guide them in incorporating health literacy information
into instruction.
