How Long Do Courses Last?

Most CALPRO online courses last four consecutive weeks. Once the course begins, you may log in any day and time of the week to complete the week's activities.

Work on your course any time!

Most courses are four weeks long and require an average of 3 hours of your time each week.

You can expect to spend three to four hours per week on assignments (including readings) and course activities. However, this may vary depending on the course or your own way of working.

Must I Go Online at Specific Times?

No. Within a given week, you may log in to your online course whenever you wish. Assignments are due by the end of each week. Occasionally, some assignments require you to collaborate with other participants. However, most interactions are asynchronous—you and the others with whom you will interact need not be online at the same time.

If your course has optional synchronous activities such as chat sessions, every effort will be made to schedule them at times that are convenient to all participants.

How Long Will I Have Access to a CALPRO Online Course?

CALPRO will e-mail you your Moodle account when the course registration ends, approximately one week before the course begins. Your course will be accessible to you online but the course contents will not become available until the course start date.

Your online course will be accessible to you one week before the course begins and will remain available for two weeks after the last day of the course.
