Goal

The goal of this workshop is to become familiar with the essential elements of adult level ESL instruction.

Objectives

On completion of the module you will be able to:

  1. Recognize the underlying principles of the essential elements of adult level ESL instruction.
  2. Identify the essential elements of adult level ESL instruction.
  3. Identify students' needs by analyzing the results of a needs assessment.
  4. Determine the presence or absence of essential elements by analyzing sample textbook chapters.
